Reauthorizes the Second Chance Act of 2007 by extending funding authorization for six grant programs from fiscal years 2026 through 2030

Expands state and local reentry demonstration projects to include substance use disorder treatment with peer recovery services, case management, overdose education, and overdose reversal medications

Adds reentry housing services as an allowable use of grant funds under state and local reentry demonstration projects

Extends authorization for grants supporting family-based substance abuse treatment, educational programs at prisons and juvenile facilities, and careers training demonstration programs

Continues funding authorization for offender reentry substance abuse collaboration programs and community-based mentoring and transitional service grants to nonprofit organizations
