Adds fall prevention items to Medicare durable medical equipment coverage under Section 1861 of the Social Security Act

Covered fall prevention items include grab bars, non-slip mats, shower chairs, bed rails, and other items the Secretary may specify

Requires a physician or practitioner order for fall prevention items to be covered

Exempts payments for fall prevention items from sequestration reductions under the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 and the Statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2010

Takes effect 60 days after enactment
