$200 monthly payments to recipients of Social Security, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), railroad retirement benefits, veterans disability compensation/pension, and Civil Service Retirement System annuities from January 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026

Eligible individuals must reside in the 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, or Northern Mariana Islands; only one payment per month regardless of multiple benefit eligibility

Payments excluded from federal income tax, not counted as income or resources for determining eligibility for any federal or federally-assisted benefit programs, and protected from garnishment or offset

Appropriates $83 million to Social Security Administration, $11 million to Treasury, $8 million to Veterans Affairs, $10 million to Office of Personnel Management, and $1.1 million to Railroad Retirement Board for administrative costs

Payments must begin within 30 days of enactment and end by July 1, 2026; payments go to representative payees or fiduciaries where applicable and must be used solely for the benefit of the entitled individual
