Directs the Secretary of the Interior to complete a feasibility study within 1 year on designating the Bay Area Ridge Trail as a national scenic trail

The Bay Area Ridge Trail is a 550-mile nonmotorized multi-use trail along ridgelines surrounding San Francisco Bay, with approximately 415 miles completed and 140 miles remaining

The trail connects over 75 parks and open spaces in Northern California, passing through diverse environments including marsh, grassland, mountain, canyon, rivers, and forests

The study must be conducted in consultation with the Bay Area Ridge Trail Council and all Federal and State agencies that administer land along the trail route

Amends Section 5(c) of the National Trails System Act (16 U.S.C. 1244(c)) to add this trail study requirement
