NHTSA Administrator must issue regulations within 90 days requiring manufacturers and operators of vehicles with Automated Driving Systems or Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems to submit monthly reports on miles traveled, collisions injuring vulnerable road users or other vehicle occupants, and unplanned stoppage events

Unplanned stoppage events requiring reporting include when autonomous vehicles stop in travel lanes unable to proceed, interfere with public transit or light rail, obstruct law enforcement or first responders, or interfere with construction zones

Monthly reports must include detailed data disaggregated by make, model, model year, software version, road type, location (state and county), and whether an occupant was present

NHTSA must publish all submitted information and reports in machine-readable format on its website beginning 120 days after enactment

Administrator may not rescind or reduce reporting requirements until 10 years after enactment, though regulations may be expanded at any time consistent with the statute
