S. 3805 - End Sanctuary Cities Act of 2026

• Creates a new federal crime prohibiting state and local executive officials from knowingly blocking compliance with DHS requests for advance notice of criminal alien releases
• Requires "reasonable advance notice" of at least 48 hours before releasing a criminal alien from custody when practicable
• Establishes tiered criminal penalties: 10-25 years for violations involving aliens charged with murder, rape, or sex offenses against minors; 5-10 years for serious violent felonies; 30 days to 6 months for other criminal offenses
• Applies to the most senior executive official responsible for enforcing sanctuary laws, regulations, policies, or practices
