Secretary of Health and Human Services must convene a task force to develop strategies and coordinate federal efforts to eliminate preventable maternal mortality, severe maternal morbidity, and maternal health disparities

Task force includes 17 ex officio members from federal agencies (HHS, HUD, Transportation, Agriculture, Labor, EPA, CMS, CDC, NIH, Indian Health Service, and others) plus appointed members representing patients, community organizations, tribal leaders, and maternity care providers

Task force must submit reports to Congress starting 2 years after enactment and annually thereafter, with recommendations on funding needs and actions to address both clinical and nonclinical causes of maternal mortality

Establishes grant program for community-based organizations, tribal organizations, and public health departments to address social determinants of maternal health including housing, transportation, nutrition, employment, and environmental conditions

Authorizes $100,000,000 per year for fiscal years 2027 through 2031 to fund the grant program, with priority given to entities operating in areas with high maternal mortality rates and high poverty rates
