Extends increased Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) to surviving spouses of veterans who die from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), regardless of how long the veteran had the disease prior to death

Amends Section 1311(a)(2) of title 38, United States Code to treat ALS-related veteran deaths as qualifying for enhanced survivor benefits without a minimum disease duration requirement

Applies retroactively to veterans who died from ALS on or after October 1, 2022

Introduced February 26, 2025 with bipartisan sponsorship from Senators Murkowski, Coons, Rounds, Whitehouse, Slotkin, and Cassidy
