Requires Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP to cover cancer diagnostic and laboratory tests including microarray analysis, DNA/RNA sequencing, whole-exome sequencing, and other next-generation sequencing for individuals diagnosed with cancer

Medicare coverage begins 6 months after enactment; Medicaid and CHIP coverage begins January 1, 2027

Medicare pays 80% of test costs (or 100% for assignment-related basis), with no deductible applied to these tests

Limits test frequency to once at initial cancer diagnosis, once at recurrence, and as necessary for treatment planning or monitoring cancer progression/response

Directs HHS and the National Human Genome Research Institute to establish an education program for physicians and the public on genomic testing, its uses, and the role of genetic counselors
