Expands the definition of "recreational infrastructure project" to explicitly include construction or improvement of trails and facilities, as well as acquisition of equipment, that improves access for disabled or adaptive users

Changes statutory language from "may include" to "includes" when listing qualifying recreational infrastructure projects, strengthening the scope of eligible projects

Amends Utah Code Section 79-8-102, which was last modified in 2022, to update definitions related to outdoor recreation grants

Appropriates no new funding; the bill modifies eligibility criteria for existing outdoor recreational infrastructure grant programs

Takes effect on May 6, 2026
