Executive director of the State Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice must designate a coordinator to provide administrative assistance to victim rights committees and process complaints

Victims may submit complaints alleging violations of their rights to the Victim Services Commission, but cannot submit complaints with substantially the same facts as a prior complaint

Coordinator must notify victims of complaint receipt within 30 days and may dismiss non-compliant complaints; valid complaints are forwarded to the subject, their employer, and scheduled for committee review

Committees must send findings letters within 30 days of making a determination, informing victims of available remedies and resources, and may include recommendations to complaint subjects and employers

Criminal justice agencies must establish policies for addressing victim rights complaints and provide copies to the coordinator upon request; effective May 6, 2026
