Adopts the 2024 International Wildland-Urban Interface Code (IWUIC), replacing the 2006 Utah Wildland Urban Interface Code, as part of Utah's State Construction Code effective January 1, 2027

Delays the annual fee assessment on high-risk wildland-urban interface property owners from January 1, 2026 to January 1, 2027

Requires the Division of Forestry, Fire, and State Lands to provide counties with copies and explanations of the wildfire risk assessment mapping tool by August 6, 2026, and give 60 days notice before expanding high-risk boundaries

Gives counties 30 days to submit written recommended changes to the wildfire risk assessment mapping tool, with the division required to implement changes or provide written justification for rejection within 30 days

Prohibits designated wildland-urban interface areas from being classified below risk category 5 on the Smoothed Structure Exposure Score map unless approved by the Division of Forestry, Fire, and State Lands
