Redirects multiple criminal justice reports from the Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Interim Committee to the State Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice for inclusion in a centralized public safety portal, including data on attempted weapons purchases by restricted persons, sexual assaults in correctional and juvenile facilities, and sexual assault kit processing

Requires new reporting to the public safety portal from institutions of higher education (student housing crime data), the multi-agency strike force combating violent crimes, the Board of Pardons and Parole (offender metrics), the Prosecutor Conduct Commission (annual complaint reports), and the Department of Public Safety/Bureau of Forensic Services (sexual assault kit data)

Mandates the Commission create protocols for de-identifying data for public use and establish a searchable public-facing portion of the portal displaying this de-identified information

Exempts the Commission from fulfilling GRAMA records requests for data it receives for the public safety portal, instead directing requesters to the originating governmental entity

Takes effect May 6, 2026, and appropriates no money
