Local education agencies (LEAs) must establish and implement share table programs at each school, allowing students to return unopened, uneaten food or beverages for redistribution to other students

School community councils and charter school wellness committees must hold annual school lunch planning meetings to review state health and wellness policies, survey parents, and create proposed plans for lunch times and recess scheduling

Elementary schools are prohibited from withholding recess, physical education, or other physical activity as punishment for poor behavior, incomplete classwork, or remediation purposes

Schools may not reduce daily recess minutes to meet the state board's model policy on health and wellness
