School district business administrators will serve under an employment contract or as at-will employees who serve at the will of the local school board, eliminating the previous two-year term requirement

Business administrators must report directly to the district superintendent of schools and perform duties subject to the superintendent's direction

The Deputy Superintendent of Operations at the state level must report directly to the State Superintendent of Public Instruction

Local school boards are prohibited from entering employment contracts with business administrators that contain automatic renewal provisions
