Requires the Office of American Indian-Alaska Native Health and Family Services to create a training curriculum for peace officers investigating cases of missing or murdered indigenous individuals

Curriculum must cover methods for gathering accurate race, ethnicity, and tribal affiliation information; principles of tribal sovereignty; applicable federal, state, and tribal laws; coordination with family members; and best practices for interviewing families

Mandates the office review and update the curriculum at least once every three years

Authorizes the office to coordinate with universities, non-profit organizations, and subject-matter experts when developing the curriculum

Effective date: May 6, 2026
