Declares the first week of July 2026 as Independence Week to mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence signing on July 4, 2026

Recognizes Utah's America250 Commission, established in 2023, which launched statewide programming on July 1, 2025 focused on education, engagement, and unity

Supports Commission programs including "The Pen is Mightier: Writing a Revolution" exhibit traveling to all 29 counties, Walk250 Utah (250-mile walking challenge), and "America's Potluck" neighborhood celebration on July 5, 2026

Directs local school districts, charter schools, and higher education institutions to incorporate anniversary-related instruction on the Declaration of Independence and Constitution during the 2026 calendar year and 2026-2027 school year

Encourages counties and cities to become Utah250 Communities and organize local celebrations, and encourages legislators to participate in schools and communities within their districts throughout 2026
