Exempts chokeholds from assault and aggravated assault charges when used during training for or participating in martial arts, wrestling, or mixed martial arts, provided both individuals are participating in the same practice or sport

Amends Utah Code sections 76-5-102 (Assault) and 76-5-103 (Aggravated Assault) to include the chokehold exemption

Takes effect on May 6, 2026
