Creates the Education Legislation Advisory Commission to study public education issues, consider stakeholder concerns, provide feedback on education legislation, and make policy recommendations

Commission has 8 voting members (4 senators, 4 representatives appointed by legislative leadership) with no more than 3 from the same party, plus 19 nonvoting members including education officials, teachers, school board members, and parents

Nonvoting members serve 2-year terms and must be recommended by the State Board of Education and state superintendent before appointment by the Legislative Management Committee

Commission may meet up to 6 times per year (with option for 2 additional meetings) and make recommendations to the Education Interim Committee and standing committees on legislation and audit findings

Takes effect May 6, 2026 and is set to repeal December 1, 2028
