Governor's salary will equal the total annual compensation of the chief justice of the Utah Supreme Court, including base salary plus additional compensation under Subsection 78A-3-101(3)(g), replacing the previous system of annual legislative appropriation.

Other constitutional officers' salaries remain tied to the governor's salary: lieutenant governor at 90%, attorney general at 95%, state auditor at 90%, and state treasurer at 90%.

Effective date is July 1, 2026.
