Appropriates $200 million from the Water Infrastructure Restricted Account to the Great Salt Lake Account for fiscal year 2027, specifically for acquiring or leasing water and water rights for the Great Salt Lake

Appropriates $1.5 million from the General Fund for the Office of the Great Salt Lake Commissioner administration

Expands authorized uses of Great Salt Lake Account funds to include negotiating agreements, leases, or other means to acquire or lease water or water rights for the lake

Removes authorization to use account funds for activities of the Great Salt Lake commissioner and office operations

Takes effect July 1, 2026
