UT SJR018

Authorizes the Utah Legislature to hold annual general sessions on nonconsecutive days throughout the calendar year, rather than consecutive days, while maintaining the existing 45-day session limit

Requires both the Senate and House of Representatives to meet on the same calendar days during general session

Changes how session days are calculated by excluding "days provided by statute" rather than the current exclusion of state and federal holidays

Removes constitutional language prohibiting either house from adjourning for more than three days without the other's consent

Requires voter approval at the next general election, with a contingent effective date of January 1, 2028 if approved
