Adds sworn unit investigators appointed by the Attorney General pursuant to § 32.1-320.1 to the list of employees eligible for membership in the Virginia Law Officers' Retirement System (VaLORS)

VaLORS provides enhanced retirement benefits compared to the standard Virginia Retirement System, with a normal retirement date at age 60

Enhanced retirement benefits apply only to service earned as a sworn unit investigator on or after the effective date

Provisions become effective July 1, 2027
