Requires the Virginia Department of Education to develop and adopt guidance on culturally responsive and language-appropriate mental health support and services for students by October 1, 2027

Mandates the Department provide this guidance to each local school board across the state

Permits (but does not require) local school boards to develop and adopt their own policies governing culturally responsive and language-appropriate mental health services for students

Local school board policies must be consistent with the guidelines adopted by the Department of Education
