Requires the Board of Medicine and Board of Nursing to mandate bias reduction training as part of continuing education for license renewal, not more often than every two years

First required training must comprehensively address how unconscious and conscious racial bias affects care during pregnancy, labor and delivery, and the postpartum period

Subsequent training must cover diseases often racialized in clinical practice, including sickle cell disease, addressing how race-based assumptions lead to delayed diagnosis and disparate health outcomes

Boards must report completion data to the Department of Health and Virginia Neonatal Perinatal Collaborative, which will evaluate training effectiveness for providers of fertility, prenatal, birth, and postpartum care

Amends § 54.1-3011 to allow the Board of Nursing to require up to two hours of continuing education in a specific subject area per biennial renewal period
