Requires the Board of Education to apply new or modified graduation requirements and diploma pathways only to students entering ninth grade at or after the implementation date, protecting current high school students from mid-course requirement changes

Guarantees students who began high school before new requirements take effect can graduate under the original requirements that existed when they entered ninth grade

Allows students to opt into new graduation requirements or diploma pathways without losing their right to complete the original requirements

Mandates the Board post public notice and up-to-date guidance materials on any new graduation requirements prior to the first school year of implementation
