Extends Line of Duty Act death benefit eligibility for retirees whose death was caused by cancers listed in § 65.2-402 (occupational disease presumption) from 5 years to 10 years after retirement

Maintains the existing 5-year post-retirement eligibility window for deaths arising out of and in the course of employment

Beneficiaries of eligible retirees receive $25,000 for deaths before January 1, 2025, or $75,000 for deaths on or after that date

Applies to law-enforcement officers, firefighters, and similar personnel covered under Virginia's Line of Duty Act, including campus police and private police officers
