Board of Education must automatically revoke a teaching license upon receiving a record of the license holder's felony conviction requiring registration under the Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry Act

Automatic revocation applies to both active teaching licenses and inactive licenses if the license was active when the offense occurred

License holders subject to automatic revocation are not entitled to a hearing; the Superintendent must notify them by certified mail to their address on file

Revoked licenses may be reinstated by the Board if the conviction is overturned on appeal and the Board determines reinstatement serves the best interest of public schools

Amends Virginia Code § 22.1-298.1 governing teacher licensure regulations, with provisions effective both currently and as of July 1, 2030
