Exempts students with disabilities who participate in alternative Standards of Learning assessments or the Virginia Alternate Assessment Program from the requirement that end-of-course assessments be administered no earlier than two weeks before the last day of school

Exempts these same students from the requirement that their assessment score must account for at least 10 percent of their final course grade

Applies to students in grades seven through 12 who are children with disabilities as defined in Virginia Code § 22.1-213

Amends § 22.1-253.13:3 of the Code of Virginia, with an effective date of July 1, 2026
