Prohibits publicly-funded housing developments from restricting pets based on breed or establishing weight limits below 65 pounds per animal

Defines "common household pet" to exclude reptiles other than turtles and excludes aged care facilities from the multifamily housing requirements

Mandates landlords disclose pet policies in writing to prospective tenants before collecting any payment or personal information during the rental application process

Preserves local authority over public health, animal control, and animal cruelty regulations, and does not affect reasonable accommodation requirements
