Covered services may include case management for food access, nutrition counseling, home-delivered meals, pantry stocking, nutrition prescriptions, and grocery provisions

Prioritizes community-based organizations and local growers to support the purchase and distribution of locally grown food in nutrition prescriptions

Implementation is contingent on receiving federal approval and federal financial participation through necessary state plan amendments or waivers

The provisions expire on July 1, 2027, if the Department does not receive required federal approval or financial participation
