Requires hospitals to report incidents of threats or acts of violence against health care providers to the Virginia Department of Health, expanding existing workplace violence reporting requirements.

Protects facility-level data on hospital workplace violence incidents from mandatory public disclosure under Virginia's Freedom of Information Act (§ 2.2-3705.5).

Permits disclosure of statistical summaries of workplace violence incidents only in aggregate form by health planning region, with all personally identifiable information removed.

Amends two sections of the Code of Virginia: § 2.2-3705.5 (FOIA exclusions for health records) and § 32.1-127 (hospital regulations).
