Directs the Virginia Boards of Medicine and Nursing to jointly assess the feasibility of creating a temporary or provisional licensure pathway for advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs)

Requires the assessment to consider eligibility standards, supervision and practice parameters, and duration of provisional status

Mandates development of recommendations to protect patient health and safety during any temporary or provisional licensing period

Report with findings and recommendations due to the House Committee on Health and Human Services and Senate Committee on Education and Health by November 1, 2026
