Amends Virginia's Residential Landlord and Tenant Act to expand flexibility for military personnel terminating rental agreements early due to orders, discharge, or emergency stop movement orders

Removes the previous requirement that the termination date be no more than 60 days prior to the departure date necessary to comply with official orders

Military members must provide 30 days' written notice after the next rent due date and furnish a copy of official orders or commanding officer's letter before termination

Landlords remain prohibited from charging liquidated damages when military personnel terminate leases under these provisions

Applies to Armed Forces members, National Guard serving full-time duty, and civil service technicians with the National Guard
