Adds full-time salaried dispatchers for public safety answering points (911 dispatchers) to the list of positions eligible for enhanced retirement benefits equivalent to State Police Officers' Retirement System benefits

Employers may elect by resolution to provide these enhanced benefits to 911 dispatchers, placing them in the same retirement benefit category as law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and regional jail officers

Enhanced benefits apply only to service earned as a full-time salaried 911 dispatcher on or after July 1, 2027

Employers may optionally extend the enhanced retirement benefits to cover dispatcher service earned before July 1, 2027, in addition to service after that date

Effective date is July 1, 2027
