Creates a Marcus Alert Evaluation Task Force to be convened by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services at least semi-annually, with staffing support provided by the Department

Grants the Department authority to adjust and update Task Force membership, notwithstanding the original written plan requirements

Requires the Department to collaborate with the Task Force on annual reporting to the Governor and legislative committees by November 15 each year

Updates terminology in the existing statute from "Chairmen" to "Chairs" when referring to legislative committee leaders

Amends Virginia Code § 37.2-311.1 relating to the comprehensive crisis system and Marcus alert system for behavioral health crisis response
