Increases the additional annual salary cap for school board chairmen from $2,000 to 30 percent of the base annual salary or $3,500, whichever is greater

Creates a new additional annual salary allowance for school board vice-chairmen of up to 15 percent of base annual salary or $1,750, whichever is greater

Requires passage of an appropriate resolution by either the elected school board or the governing body of the locality (for appointed boards) to authorize these additional salaries

Amends § 22.1-32 of the Code of Virginia relating to school board member compensation
