Amends Virginia's Line of Duty Act (§ 9.1-400) to add sheriffs and deputy sheriffs as a separate category of covered personnel eligible for death and disability benefits

Removes sheriffs and deputy sheriffs from the existing category that includes city sergeants and deputy city sergeants of Richmond, creating a new standalone classification (category xxi)

Ensures sheriffs and deputy sheriffs who die or become permanently disabled in the line of duty qualify for health insurance benefits for their spouses and dependents under the Line of Duty Death and Health Benefits Trust Fund
