Authorizes school boards to require full-time school bus drivers to complete mental health awareness training at least once, expanding existing requirements that already apply to teachers and other full-time personnel

Training may be provided through the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, community services boards, behavioral health authorities, nonprofit organizations, or other certified trainers

Directs the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services to consider developing a condensed two-hour mental health first aid training module specifically for school bus drivers

Training may be delivered via online modules to facilitate accessibility and implementation
