Encourages the Virginia High School League (VHSL) to evaluate the feasibility of adding cricket as a sanctioned high school sport in Planning District 8

Consultation should include local school divisions, athletic directors, principals, students, community organizations, and youth sports leagues to assess interest, costs, and facility needs

Evaluation should consider legal implications under Title IX and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964

VHSL is encouraged to submit a written report with findings, recommendations, and a framework for school divisions to petition for cricket sanctioning

Report due by December 1, 2026, to be submitted to the House and Senate Education and Appropriations committees and each local school division in Planning District 8
