Amends Virginia's Uniform Power of Attorney Act (§ 64.2-1612) to establish stricter requirements for waiving an agent's duty to disclose financial transactions and records

Requires that any provision relieving an agent from disclosure duties must be expressly signed or initialed by the principal with a statement acknowledging they understand the waiver and it reflects their wishes, even if not in their best interest during incapacity

Allows a disinterested individual directed by the principal to sign or initial the waiver statement in the principal's conscious presence on their behalf

Applies to powers of attorney created on or after July 1, 2026
