Attorneys for the Commonwealth may request aggregated case data reports from Virginia district and circuit courts that include party names, dates of birth, and last four digits of social security numbers—information normally excluded from such reports for other requesters

The Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court must approve such requests from Commonwealth's Attorneys when made to assist in performing their official duties

Access is limited to cases arising within the requesting attorney's jurisdiction only

Commonwealth's Attorneys are prohibited from disseminating reports containing personal identifying information unless that information is first redacted

Amends Virginia Code §§ 16.1-69.54:1 and 17.1-208 governing court records requests for both district and circuit courts
