Establishes specific membership requirements for the Farm to School Program Task Force, which previously allowed the Department of Education to appoint members at its discretion

Requires one Senator appointed by the Senate Committee on Rules and one Delegate appointed by the Speaker of the House of Delegates to serve on the Task Force

Mandates at least four Department-appointed members including a school board member, a Department of General Services procurement representative, a Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services representative, and a Virginia farmer or producer

Task Force purpose remains increasing student access to farm to school programs that feature locally produced food in school meals and provide experiential learning about local food and agriculture
