Amends the definition of "acknowledged" power of attorney under Virginia Code § 64.2-1617 to mean "purportedly" verified before a notary public or other authorized individual, rather than simply "verified"

Removes the existing provision that excluded powers of attorney with forged principal signatures from good faith acceptance protections

Allows persons who accept an acknowledged power of attorney in good faith, without actual knowledge of invalidity or forgery, to rely upon it as if genuine and valid

Maintains existing provisions allowing recipients to request agent certifications, English translations, and legal opinions before accepting a power of attorney
