Commends the Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke on its 75th anniversary, recognizing its promotion of American art and cultural contributions to the Roanoke Valley since 1951

The museum, originally the Roanoke Fine Arts Center, was renamed in 2008 after former U.S. Ambassador Nicholas F. Taubman, who supported construction of the current downtown Roanoke building designed by architect Randall Stout

Houses 11 galleries with over 2,000 pieces in its permanent collection, featuring American, contemporary, folk, and regional art by artists including Thomas Eakins, John Singer Sargent, and John Cage

Originates 15-20 exhibitions annually and has offered free admission to all visitors since 2012 through corporate and community support

Directs the Clerk of the House of Delegates to present a copy of the resolution to the museum
