Team defeated Franklin High School 77–38 in the state final held in Richmond on March 14, 2025, finishing the season with a 27–4 record

George Wythe won the Mountain Empire District regular season title and both the district and regional tournaments en route to the state championship

Recognizes the 12 student-athletes and coaching staff led by head coach Tony Dunford for their skill, hard work, and leadership

Directs the Clerk of the House of Delegates to prepare a copy of the resolution for presentation to Coach Dunford
