Supports approximately 1,900 programs, activities, and events annually and operates the 56,000-square-foot Herndon Community Center with aquatic facility, fitness center, gymnasium, and other amenities

Four-time winner of the National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management, the highest honor in the parks and recreation field

Anniversary celebration throughout 2026 will include enhanced events, special gatherings, limited-edition programs, and recognition of community partners and volunteers
