Jeremy Lewis Hall, a master corrections officer at River North Correctional Center in Grayson County, died in the line of duty on November 17, 2025

Hall joined the Virginia Department of Corrections on April 25, 2024 and served until his death

Governor Glenn Youngkin ordered flags flown at half-staff on December 2, 2025 to honor Hall's service

Hall is survived by his wife Dawn, children Amaya, Felix, and Sophi, and parents Mary and Michael

The resolution directs the Clerk of the House of Delegates to present a copy to Hall's family as an expression of the General Assembly's respect
