Commends the E.C. Glass High School marching band of Lynchburg for winning the Virginia Marching Band Cooperative Group 3 state championship on October 25, 2025

The 67-member band defeated eight other similarly sized bands to win the program's first-ever state championship and earn a spot in the VMBC Commonwealth Cup

The band performed a range featuring "Li'l Red Riding Hood" by Sam the Sham & The Pharaohs, designed by composer Ben Hylton

Band members prepared through two weeks of nine-hour daily practices at band camp in July, followed by three three-hour practices weekly throughout the season

Directs the Clerk of the House of Delegates to present a copy of the resolution to band director Doug Brown, who was in his second year with the program
