Commends the Botetourt County Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution on its 60th anniversary, having received its charter on January 23, 1965

The chapter is a nonprofit, nonpolitical volunteer women's service organization for direct descendants of American Revolution patriots, promoting historical preservation, education, and patriotism

Members maintain the Allen-Carper Cemetery in Eagle Rock (resting place of Revolution patriots including Malcolm Allen) and place flags on veterans' graves at Godwin Cemetery in Fincastle on Memorial Day and Veterans Day

The chapter supports community through serving as docents at the Botetourt Historical Museum, working with Boy Scout Troop 211, providing scholarships for high school seniors, and supporting the Botetourt Food Pantry

Directs the Clerk of the House of Delegates to prepare a copy of the resolution for presentation to the chapter
